S. FRANCIS SMITHEMAN, ATD, BA(Hons), FRSA

The distinguished marine artist S.Francis Smitheman has shown works in London and the provinces, in France, Norway, Sweden and the USA. His lengthy art studies included a Scholarship to Paris and a second degree in the History of Art. He has works in many private and company collections, on board ships and in museums.

Marine Artists.co.uk is proud to publish a group of new limited editions by Francis Smitheman; subjects range from H.M.S. Victory after Trafalgar through a a pair of atmospheric Port of London scenes at the end of the nineteenth century to two glorious American clipper ship images from the 1850s.
